I don't know about there, but in the US there would be a yellow line denoting center of highway. I guess they were Americans thinking they were on a one way 2-lane highway! >:)

#3 : you're right in fact reflexes are by definition used "whithout" thinking. It's a bypass in our brain, some sort of wirring between synapses that allow the information to get from fact to action with few processing states.

But this guy was saved also mainly because he respected the security distances, if he was closer from the other vehicule when it got on the security lane it would have could have gone terribly wrong.

I'm a little confused with the road markings here. The centre of the road is obviously the broken lines and I'm assuming the oncoming car was overtaking the bus or blind and stupid, but what's with the large area's to the side of the road with the thick solid white lines? is this like our Hard shoulder?

#5 looks a lot like a bike lane, wouldnt make sense at such a road though

I'm kinda curious what happens after the video?! the dude from the front car seems pretty pissed and then it sounds like something breaks in the last second or two

Reflexes, as mwak #4 correctly pointed out, do not involve thinking. It's a response caused by a stimulus that travels from the sensory nerves through the spinal cord and sends an impulse along motor nerves that illicit a motor response, completely bypassing the brain. Our body reserves these reflexive responses for emergencies. (i)
