War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

It just shows that the next big war will have massive amounts of casualties. It's sadly inevitable. Let's just hope none of us or our kids will be a part of it.

I wouldn't say inevitable. There's ways to prevent another huge war but will we? Education and communication can go a long ways. Is the likelihood there? Yes, but I for one will stand against another war. Let's hope that mind set will spread.

#2 I don't believe that the next world war inevitably means similarly huge losses. Back then, the majority of the war was pretty much face to face and that meant a lot of direct casualties. Future warfare is augmented by high-tech to such an extent that one only really needs to take out the central core to make the rest of the machinery ineffective. Either that, or (close to) total annihilation - and in both cases, the military folks probably have better chances of survival than civilians.

No sooner have I commented on a video and how great it was, another one comes along, like this one, which I found incredible in many ways and very unique in the way it presented the sobering numbers. This video should be part of a history class. I also really agree with #1, #2, #3 and #4.

If only all history where like this one.
It's clear and captivating but yet so disturbing and helps us remind what sacrifices were made from all over the world.

The author had a brilliant idea.

#3. BLUEDUDE54 Not so long as you have groups like ISIS...who have already proved time and time again that they not only do not 'need' an education, but will actively prevent some sections of society from getting one...women in particular.
