Lengthy hospitalizations remove patients from a a life of activities they would normally enjoy and therefore zap them of energy and motivation. Activities like this one bring life back to the patients, there should be a lot more, even little things like music, art and bringing animals such as dogs to the bedside have shown to greatly improve the patients outlook on life and decrease the need for pain and anxiety medication. Agree #2 and #3! Great video!
