An average adult can lift almost any fully loaded assault rifle with their little finger, a girl with 8 fingers and two thumbs aint gonna have a problem, this isn't a record I've seen soldiers do it blind folded faster. Probably a record for an 11 year though - there's a bloody good reason for that. Don't be a fool, don't take guns to school.

That girls probably better disciplined then 50% of the people that own guns in both America and anywhere else on this planet. Her father obviously cares about teaching her enough about guns hes probably gone into gun safety a few times. Notice while handling the gun she keeps it pointed away from her father, her self, and handles it correctly... "scary" my ass. Its the uneducated "ganksta" thats "scary" not the 11 year holding an unloaded gun in her living room while her father supervises her every move.

#33 - There is a difference from "playing" with guns and actually using them properly. If she's running around the house shooting an unloaded gun at her younger brother like a squirt gun then sure her father should be shot... But using the gun properly is a completely different thing. I've been shooting both a gun and a rifle sense I was 5 years old.. Starting with a small play bow and a 22 working my way to a shot gun and compound bow at 12. Once I could start legally hunting and have yet to have a close call. It's up to the parents to protect the children and supervise them tell they're old enough to understand how guns work and how dangerous they can be.

Oh yea,back to the topic of the video...teaching gun safety and proper usage to young people takes away the natural curiosity they have of guns and letting them shoot gives them an idea of how much damage is done to a target.It's usually the punk from the 'hood' who has no training that shoots someone or himself. In this country the NRA has a great gun-safety program that has taught thousands of young people the proper way to handle firearms.

That little gal will probably win a gold medal in the next Olympics and her dad will be even more proud of her. At least she is not being taught how to strap on a bomber's vest by her parents like thousands of young Muslim kids are for the glory of allah. Owning a gun does not turn you into a killer but owning an explosive vest probably will.
