The 9 bucks is probably just for the rental, if you fuck up the car you will have to pay for the damages.

Sorry folks but you pay for damages, even a good size scratch will cost you a lot. Buy their insurance they offer you. Better to be on the safe side. These guys are idiots. and should be dropped to the bottom of the ocean.
