It is healthy for the young boy to be able to forgive the driver , but the law does not and he will probably get prison time.

Wait a minute. Wasn't the mother guilty of the same thing? What was she doing driving while reading her son's report card? But just because she didn't hit anything it's ok?
What a contradictory message.

#2 if you look better you will see that he did a few years in prison ( thus "the return" ) :) , good message, but delivered in a bit confusing manner

#4 Wrong guess on the title. The Return is about the young man returning to the scene of the tragedy hoping to find forgiveness. Nothing in the video suggests he is back from prison.

From Navajo Films story line:

A young man must face the mistakes of his past in the hope of redemption.

#5 well, nothing in the video suggests he was not in prison :)
different mind set i guess, it was logical to me that he was back from prison seeking redemption and forgiveness ( considering obvious age shift, and the nature of the tragedy ), but you may be right :)

Odd that he swerved into the mother rather than back onto the road. :S

#2 who says it's healthy, "they"? I think forgiving someone is overrated and weak.

Kinda thought this going somewhere but it didn't. All you needed was the bread a bit of pickle and possibly some onion and you would have a cheap sandwich personally I tend to favour a few prawns, salad and some low fat mayo or perhaps smoked Scottish salmon with the trimmings made with a nice full grain loaf. So has anyone's life been ruined by the 'Life's too short have an affair' fiasco? What about you admin anyone looking a bit worried not being able to concentrate or do your job properly? would explain a lot >:)Sweating, making lots of phone calls, ordering flowers, booking tickets for Carman, no? you sure? okay fair enough just thought I'd ask.

Anyone know any good jokes? Dog I'm bored at the moment!!! Arm wrestling? Anyone know of any miracles that have happened in the twenty years or so? What about the weather where you are, it's snowing here, blowing a right old blizzard outside? Anyone fancy a pint, nice glass of white wine, prawn sandwich? Think I'll go and lay an egg give me more spare time tomorrow. :squirrel: nuts :squirrel: nuts nuts

This is wrong. Now 10 years later, when the doesn't have enough money and didn't have enough guidance in life, he can't anymore blame that guy for ruining his life. And it would be even worse if he did blame himself for ruining his life, although in reality his mother was killed. A very, very bad message in my opinion. This is not the case in which you give forgiveness. He didn't have to bear the fault for the rest of his life, but that other guy, who killed his mom, for one reason or another.

#11 I've heard lots about paedophile priests but none of them were funny and all had the same punch line. I'd like to see a punch line of paedophile priests, I'd work my way down that line without gloves then start back at the beginning again, that's assuming there was a bus back to the beginning and enough fare. Come on then tell me about this Monk who was of a homosexual persuasion, be very careful though because you don't want to stray into the realms of homophobia. Nuts :squirrel:

#6 The young boy looks to be about the same age at the end as he did at the start.
