The whole video is pretty bizarre...#2 yes, what's up with the burning match in the trashcan, as if one fire isn't enough...#3 I think the parrot sound may have been the smoke alarm in his apartment...and why wouldn't he call the fire department first before he started trying to put out the fire...ugh..and in 5:34 suddenly another person comes out of nowhere to help him put out the fire...the annoying voice.. it may be me, but I just don't get it...

I nominate him for the Darwin Award of the century. "Let's try putting the fire out with something that's also flammable. It didn't work, so I better leave it right beside the fire and go grab something else. Oh my! I'm back with something flammable again, and the fire is even bigger! I'd better repeat my first steps...". I'm just surprised that he didn't try to douse it with lighter fluid instead of water. :S
