First time I've ever seen a green coconut, thought they were all hairy and brown, guess that's when they're mature or off the tree?

#2 They grow as green / yellow at first and turn brown when they mature. the brown turned useless outer shell is usually ripped off before selling as a matured coconut. also the inner meat is transparent when green and kinda like gello.
