Just for some more infos,
This is the spanish export version of the Harrier : EAV-8B Matador II
They formerly were launched from the carrier "Príncipe de Asturias" but it was decommissioned in 2012, on this video it's "the Juan Carlos I" which is commissioned since 2010. It's a amphibious projection platform (helicopters, VTOL planes, troops, ..) more like the French Mistral more than a carrier.

#10 It may have sounded sexist (to you), but mwak and I both know it sure was not meant that way, in actuality it was an admiring compliment to her and that is how she took it, otherwise she would not have said "thanks"...but I know, too subtle for you to discern. Overbearing political correctness these days is irritating and smothers many good exchanges of comments between people. Also, you may concern yourself more with your own commenting about women, recalling your comments on this video a few months ago...

Overbearing political correctness given to us by the left is what I was pointing out...duh.
If a man had made that same comment to a woman you would have been the first to call him out.
We have female fighter pilots in the military now so it is no wonder to me that many women are familiar with fighter jets.
I try my best not to be PC and I use terms and words every day that are unpopular with the "permanently offended" crowd.

#6 By the way, mwak,I hope I have not offended you with my #4 comment, but I did not have the feeling I did, and it was meant in an admirable way. As you saw, it created quite a discussion, but in case you come back to this page, I just wanted you to know that it was meant in a positive way. I think it is cool, that your Dad inspired you that way. It very much reminds me of one of my best friends, whose Dad flew a B17 in WWII ( I know, long time ago!) and she knows every war plane, especially from that era, by name and knows stuff about it that I only dream about, but I love hearing her stories from her Dad...Have a nice day!
