Many people complained about this new steering wheel. It has been pointed on Top Gear as well.
Ferrari's new turn signal buttons: it should be forbidden. Try to operate them when the steering wheel is turned 180°. Will you always remember in this casual situation that right one is on the left and vice-versa?

I don't want to start any Porsche vs. Ferrari thread, and I've never used a Ferrari. But I've driven a 911 4S (997 Mk1) for 3 years (not mine) and it was a well engineered supercar but with turn signals (etc...) like any other car. If every car on the planet have a common ground when it comes to horn, turning signals, lights, sweepers, etc... it must be for a GOOD REASON, simply because it makes sense (like #4 pointed out). Germans (and other) supercar manufacturers have understood that. Ferrari seems to think itself as an exception out there. Of course, the performance of their cars is amazing but using them on a everyday basis must be a pain in the ass. A little snobbish don't you think ?

I remember a similar experience with a camcorder back in the 80's, it was made by Canon. Back in the days when you had to but a little 8mm cassette tape into a machine to film video (for the younger guys and gals out there). On the model I had it was a little door that opened where you put the tape and the little door was held on by two teeny tiny screws, you could take it off to get at the heads for cleaning etc. Now one of these screws disappeared, don't know where don't know why but it did. So I contacted Canon to ask for a screw. They sent me one in a little bag with an invoice for £27 UK.
I sent them a letter explaining that I thought they had misunderstood the kind of screw I was needing and had quoted me the going rate (apparently)for the kind you might get from the local red light district. I also pointed out that based on my calculations if I wanted to replace all the other parts of the £400 camcorder it would cost approximately they same as a small military aircraft including weaponry. Canon cancelled the invoice.

its easy to correct your mistake
you need to turn the turn signal before you turn the turn wheel
why is this way better you ask?
1st other users see your intent before you start doing your intent by turning your wheels and some cars like to move before you turn the wheel
also turning wheels on spot isnt good for tires
and 2nd thingy is you wont get confused what is left or right while its up side down

#10 : Okay, I guess I can buy a Ferrari then... Personally, I use my turn signal at the last possible moment when I'm ready to move out of a parking spot, avoiding to block traffic with my intend to pull out (some people stop their car when they see the turn signal to let me pass, sometimes it's ok, some other time I feel compelled to move not to block the traffic, so, my turning signal is ON only when I'm ready to insert into the traffic). Of course, when being in the traffic, I always use my turning signal way before turning. Actually I was not asking, but thank's for your input though.
