Great stuff!
#1 and #2 If you look closely, you can see that the piece of wood used as "table" is slightly damaged and has sometimes burned stained (seen at the bottom of the camera at 1:28). I guess they have used a belt sander such as the one below and carefully removed all dust and broken parts before making this frame-by-frame sequence.

#5 Naw I got sandblasted at the beach didn't even ruffle a feather, I think it was removed by telekinesis when I say telekinesis I mean belt sander.
