Fasten your seat belt
A somewhat strange comparison. But then again, it's Russia ![]()

A rough translation for all you non Russian speaking types: An accident at 50km/h is like falling from five stories.

we have worse ads to stop idiots who speed and kill themselves and others in Australia
this ad tells you, not buckling up is like saying goodbye to your family and end up killing yourself
Just a normal ad.
You not bright enough to understand whats between the lines ?
Got used to getting everything chewed and digested for you ?
Fairly mild compared to some of the road safety ad's they have here in Ireland. They don't pull any punches. They show in graphic detail what happens in car accidents
The commercial says:
Getting into a car accident without a seat belt with speed @ 50km/h it's the same as falling from 5th floor...
sorry for my bad english

thanks for the translations ... makes a lot more sense then. i think its a good commercial!
I say for us all that he should have left for work later that day, when the garbage truck was outside the window. Well there was a one day job that opened up, out of all this....at least.
I say "He Got Off Lucky", he knew the Time and Place in advance, and we like idiots have to still drive around looking for that precise moment and place.
"Being in a car collision at 50km/h without a seat-belt is the same as falling from the 5th floor. Fasten your seatbelt if you wish to live."

Well, the point of the ad is to make you think. I actually felt bad for the man & his family when I saw the last frame, so the ad does it's job.
I'll use the seatbelt on my bike from now on. ![]()

Eye opening ad, well done. Driving without a seat belt may as well be like jumping out of a window.
