When i was a kid I worked with this kind of pen to learn writing. My brother that is 4 years younger had to learn with a ballpoint pen.
That's kinda sad in some way because it was a struggle to make something of it but the result was so rewarding.
I still use a fountain pen but clearly when i took it out people sometimes look at me like an extraterrestrial :D
I hope I had met this kind of talented person as a kid :)

Maybe out of place here, but true.

I still carry a fountain pen around with me, and I love the gobsmacked look on peoples faces when they realise its not something 'bog standard'. Compared to this guy my efforts resemble those of a 5 year old, but...its something that I've produced MYSELF..not something produced by a computer and printer and when I have visitors they always remark on what I have framed and on the walls. #2. Ballpoint pens can be ok as well...a friend of mine uses one ( when he cant get his hands on a fountain pen)...and his normal handwriting style is copperplate!

#3 JJ, he may have a master in front of his name, but that doesn't make him less hot...actually makes him double hot.. >:)

#1 Why?

When I grew up (which was loooong ago) I also wrote with a fountain pen, usually blue or black, red was reserved for the teachers, but I used red at home for love letters. Penmanship was highly valued and graded...my handwriting was beautiful then and I was proud of it...I loved this video, thanks Glubok :)
