Hamsters are buggers, you think they are out of food, but they have hidden it, my hamster buries her whole food bowl. By the way he is not eating all of it, most ends up in his cheek pouches. Amazing how they can use their feet as hands though.

I i like hamsters but they are cruel i had one couple and one day i woke up and the male one was lying dead because she eat half of his head i don't understand how can they do that, then someone told me that after they have relations.. i rather have a cigarette..

Proportionally that would be like us eating crackers the size of magazines. Little guy must've gained about 15% body weight.

#3 they eat the head because that's where all the protein is, in the brain. Yes, they can be mean little bastards, canabalistic for sure. I breed them for awhile, it's best to just keep one otherwise it's a big hassle.
But they are cute and they can stuff some serious groceries away in those cheeck pouches!!
