My god I imagine how it would've felt for an american Amazing. Cool. Incredible. And that Destin is such a genuine person (just saying all the things about the superficial insignificant levels of contact that all of us would be so centered on to talk about when meeting with, for example - a president. That's cool)

#5 He, #4, didn't say the President is the most powerful person, because we all know he is not, there is the separation of powers in the American government, and the President, belonging to the Executive one, is just one of three, the other two are Legislative and Judicial, they all have checks on each other, one alone does not have a lot of pull, actually a pretty well designed system.

#6 actually he did 3x 1:04 ; 5:50 & 6:41
#5 they get it mixed up with, the leader of the most powerful country in the world.
#6 divided powers- it's an excellent system, but it's been thwarted by executive orders and regulations at all government levels that are not laws but are treated like laws. An example of regulations = laws- global warming never got traction in congress, so regulations are started at the Federal level and eventually flowed down to the city/local level without being voted on by our representatives, basically allowing them to govern via fiat.
I think they are partially correct in the media making people more extreme, but I think some of it comes from the rules and regulations coming out of the system these days that don't make a lot of sense and it's clear there's an agenda. People can't put their finger on that as far as this or that precisely, but it's a gut feeling that things are not right. Like it or not, that's why Trump is doing so well and surprisingly also Sanders.
Great video by the way, I've always like this guy.

#8 I agree with your last sentence and I believe all, or most, are crooks but just wear different masks (Democrat mask or Republican mask) but still belive devided powers is a brilliant system but like a lot of things man perverts the system.
Lobbying happens when government (and the officials) become too big and powerful whereby lobbying for favors is productive. If government is small and doesn't have much power, there's no objective to lobby.
Example: if we had a flat tax rate, there'd be no lobbying to get tax favors. With uneven taxes there's lobbying to gain favor. If there were no subsidies whereby everything had to exist based on it's merit, there'd be no lobbying for government to pick winners and losers. I could go on but I'm sure SNOTR has a character limit.

#8..True, but I'm referring to the the basic design and framework how a government is set up, not the corruptions and manipulations invented by politicians that run it. I'm not saying that other governments are also set up hin this way. I'm by no means a believer in American Exceptionalism.

#12 I could think of even worse and fitting names for him, but got to keep my mouth shut, unfortunately there are so many that love him.
And #11, again...you can't be serious, right?!
#7 Okay so this was a misunderstanding on my part regarding comment #5, for some reason I thought he referred his comment to comment #4, not the video, even though he never mentioned #4, not sure why this happens to me sometimes, but it does, anyways thanks for correcting this, snotraddict...I agree with you on your comment #7, it's the people running the government that are the problem, not the model of the government itself. I personally don't think that a small government would still work, because the country is too big and the Federal government needs to protect the citizens from arbitrary state laws..just my opinion
