As they are all saying, the cost is great in this business. At least I hope that the medical field and several patients benefit from it.

By definition vaccines provide active acquired immunity against viral or bacterial infections.
Trying to develop a vaccine against a venom seem like a pretty silly idea to start with.
Doing it by letting yourself get bitten indiscriminately by a large variety of different species must be the worst possible way of doing so.
