Pathetic americans getting upset on other people's behalf.

She'll be doing weather for channel 11 next year, after her augmentation surgery. :(

She handled this ridiculous situation so well...

Some Norwegian weathergirls have dressed more daring than that. Unfortunately I have to check the forecast at internet afterwards.

#1 I almost guarantee you that it wasn't 'Americans' who were upset. Especially not in SoCal.

That's funny in France we have one channel working on the total opposite direction with its forecast announcers ... (men and women :P).

Anyway, this one is stupid. Hopefully not all americans are like that and that's just an small incident (I really hope so ...).

#5 Seems pretty American to me. Aren't Americans the ones who make the huge fuzz about some words on TV and have a big problem with the broadcast of nudity?

#6 and #7,... mwak, actually many are like that, unfortunately...and yes, it's here in the US where they make the huge fuss about certain words and bare skin, although over the years it has relaxed some...finally!! Ironically I find those weird rules a lot more embarrassing than the actual "words" or"nudity...I know who's gonna down-vote me for this comment... :P :squirrel:

Showing any skin on television is a big no-no, however there are no problems showing violence and gore.

#7 How does it seem 'pretty American'? What's the one group of people in the world today that thinks it's their job to force their values of how women can dress, where they can go, who they can talk to, what jobs they can have all with fatal consequences if women don't comply? I know you can't say it, because no one is allowed to say it.

#13 I'll say it.

I'm American... If any of you assholes met me, you'd know just how delusional your generalization of Americans really is. Funny how its always other nationalities making offensive blanket statements about Americans, and not much from Americans being the rude, judgemental asshats toward others. So yea, talk your shit, but I'm proud to be an American. Esp if not being an American means I become one of you rude pricks.

That said, this video is flat out retarded.. It's not Americans you should be taking digs at, its the religious freaks that seem to control such scenarios with their easily offended, preachy, butthurt whining. Those hypocritical christian twits that preach about turning the other cheek, but always got something to say, as if they are better than everyone else, and want to control how others act. Come on Naked News, give the religious fools something to REALLY complain about.

Her boss is probably one such religious nutcase, that was jealous how good she looked, so took action..

#16 generalizations always suck. But you must admit that uptight behavior when it comes to skin and naughty words is kind of institutional in America. The FCC has to reflect the opinion of at least a part of the American mainstream. I wanted to point out that one does not have to speculate that muslims want to ban your boobs on tv because there are enough reactionary forces in the all american population.
America has a huge influence over the rest of the world. The downside to this privilege is that your country's morality gets scrutinized and that there is some serious shit talking. Do not let it get to you personally.

#17 Kind of astonishing how you turn a blind eye to the entire Muslim world and heaped so much judgement on a society that you obviously know nothing about.

#16 I'm a Christian... If you met me, you'd know just how delusional your generalization of Christians really is.

Americans are hypocrites.
Christians are constantly offended.
The "entire Muslim World" wants to enslave women.
French people only watch naked news.

Happy generalisation-day everyone :*

#19 really? Please, prove me wrong. Lets meet up. See how you react to my views face to face, after a lengthy conversation.

You yourself may not be a bad person, or a control freak, or even a hypocrit, but many practicioners of your faith are hypocritical as all hell. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.. Are you telling me christians want people to tell them how to dress, what to say, and how to act? That they want to be judged and looked down on because they don't fit your standards? Because most christians are quick to do so to others.

Turn the other cheek... I've only had one grudge held against me, for 20 years, by... wait for it... "Christians", all because they blamed me for their sons drinking. Their son is christian, it cant be his fault, has to be his heathen friend rt? So much for turning the other cheek.. Practice what you preach isn't their strong suit.

If you are one of the good ones (because yes, there's good and bad in all beliefs and nationalities), then I apologize if I offended you. I had no more right to do so than those that offended me by taking every chance they get to dog on Americans, so for that I am indeed sorry.

Maybe I'm just jaded, but my personal experiences with so called christians, has failed to impress me one iota. I welcome the chance for someone to change my opinion on the matter.

I think it has more to do with the fact that it was early morning 8:30am and she was wearing a dress that appears to be appropriate for night as in cocktail dress. So I think the complaints were from the fashion police rather than the sexy police.

...I just watched this video after the Charlie Chaplin one.
After reading all the comments I have to say, unity will have to wait...
These days everybody judges everyone based on a bunch of ass-umptions.
Start to travel, get to know every single person in the world and still keep your judgement for yourselves... O:)
