Here is Everyone Who Has Emigrated to the United States Since 1820

From 1920 to 2013, 79 million people obtained lawful permanent resident status in the United States. This map visualizes all of them based on their prior country of residence. The brightness of a country corresponds to its total migration to the U.S. at the given time.

Why are so many Italian men named Tony in USA?

Because in their ship tickets was written TO NY (New York) :)

Very good video (graphic)

It would be interesting to see how the graphic looked if it started 20 years earlier and included slavery.

#3 It also would be interesting if the graphic went back to the 1500's and showed which country's slave ships were ferrying (emigrating?) all those slaves across the Atlantic to the Americas.

Interesting how during the communist period in my country, everything stops for about 50 years.

#5 Through the centuries pretty much every religion has had believers who owned slaves , but only one "religion" still practices it. :|

#7 true, Boko Haram and the Islamic State are in favor of slavery as a mean of Jihad and some Saudi officials support this.

Don't forget the Christian movement LRA, though. They are big fans of child sex slavery. That makes it at least two practicing religions.

In every Muslim majority country slavery is abolished, though. The insane views of 200000(+) radicals are hardly representative of the views of the one billion other Muslims.

#9 The Christian religion has not and does not teach or endorse slavery of any type , the Koran does in many places. From the days that Muhammad drew his sword to rob and conquer non-Muslims to this very day, Muslims have been taking non-Muslims, and even other black Muslims, as slaves. The abolishment of slavery in Muslim countries is ignored and goes unpunished by the ruling class.
Joseph Kony's rebel LRA in the Central African Republic is not a Christian movement as can be seen by their military tactics and murderous tendencies. There are only 300-500 soldiers in the LRA and many of them are children who are forced to fight.
Your relativism comparing the two religions is laughable.

#13 Ok what part? Is there some verse in the New Testament that sanctions slavery? Please enlighten us.

#9, That's actually not true. Slavery is still technically legal in Mauritania--a muslim-majority nation.
