#3 By the awkward looks on the faces of everyone in that tunnel, I doubt that there is much appreciation going on...

What a disgrace ! why did they have to ruin the image of this impressive construction and spit in the face of the thousands workers (and architects and so on) who worked hard there with this idiotic exhibition ?? Where were these public masterbaiter clowns when the hard work happened ?

#10 the 12 billon "swiss franc" were mostly paid by the Swiss. Moreover, they are not part of the EU https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Member_state_of_the_European_Union

This is terrible.
They gave the opening ceremony over to some PR agency who came up with this farce.
Whoever signed this off as a good idea needs sacking.
No recognition of the immense achievement by the engineers and workers on this project.
Absolutely appalling.

Although the content of the performance may be debatable, because I saw a lot of symbolism to the essence of the Swiss spirit, taming the mountains, the wildlife, etc (but I could be wrong), still, the choreography was amazing and well performed.

11 correct, my mistake, i was thinking only the EU would pay for that kind of thing and that no country would waste their own tax payers money on it.
