Yep since you're young and don't have many responsibilities and it's only a summer job.
I'm ok with the "do what you like", it's really true. But sadly, in our world, even if money doesn't make you happy but it contributes to it.
So it's important to find the good equilibrium *pun intended* :squirrel:

#1 I agree with you, and there is a study out there (maybe I can find it) that in order for someone to live a happy life, in regard to finances, where they have everything they need but not in excess, one needs to make about $70,000 annually. Everything below can be stressful because it's hard to make ends meet, and everything above is more than needed, and will not make someone happier, you can only vacation so much, eat out so much, have so many cars, etc...of course as always there are exceptions.

$70k won't cut it where I live but yes, in general there is a "number". You can sometimes do what makes you happy with the understanding that society may not put as much value on it as you do and as such you'll be poor. A small percentage make it big in most categories.

That's why I said there are exceptions....there are no absolutes... :squirrel:

Sadly i would be much more than a "happy camper" with half of that amount ... Even if you are lucky enough to get a job here , annual earnings are around 3500 - 5000 $ .So it is a very relative theory to say the least .
Bosnia , btw :( .
