I had that happen to a 2 liter cola i had standing outside this winter. That was annoying when i just wanted a cold drink and that option just went away.

Super chilled fluid, they are dropped below their freezing point, but without a single crystal to start the freezing cascade they have nothing....stirring up the liquid creates a situation where a crystal can form.

Super cooled...happens in the atmosphere too, when there is no nucleus for the water to adhere to.
