How to turn water into balls

An amazing experiment: in contact with the air, this liquid looses polar hability and sticks to itself, transforming into solid water spheres.
Update: as pointed out in the comments, this video is fake. Still looks cool though :)

Sorry to inform you, but this video is a hoax. The balls are simply made of plastic with the same diffraction index as water. This causes them to be virutally invisible under water, and show up as soon as they are lifted out of the liquid.

Also, there is no such thing as 'polar hability'.

If still not conviced, try to explain why all the balls would be of the exact same size, and why the bal falling out at 02:31 is happily bouncing around the table.

Agree with #3. It's actually possible to make dense water that's sort-of-similar to this in a lab, but baking soda, vinegar, and salt definitely are not going to do it.

The stupid font choice, misspellings, and vague measurements (a small amount of...) should be hints enough.

At 2:27 you can clearly see that there are balls in the water because once the person puts their hand in the water, they are pushed to one side and protrude above the water's surface even before they leave the water thus proving that they are physical objects

also if it sticks to itself shouldn't it theoretically create a ball the size of the amount of water that is scooped out. not a whole bunch of small marbles.
BS. to bad.

I got this home its a decoration its like nr #3 said they are mainly in a vase for plastic flowers the balls are of a rubbery/gelatine they are not solid substance with a similar diffraction level of water they are allways in a collored water substance in clear water you are able to distinguish them.
I'm sure this video was only made to receive more subscriptions on you tube. :)

Ok, I never even took high school chemistry, but I can tell you that no freakin household chemicals like salt and vinegar and baking soda are going to make some magical substance. Yes I know we all know it's fake, but it just goes to show how gullible some people really are!! Sad.......... :'(

people who create hoaxes usually are not smart enough to show legitimate findings, not to mention successfully tricking people into believing that a hoax is real.

with some exceptions, you should check out "the hutchinson effect". apparently, this guy has been showing experimental findings for decades, and til this day, no one is certain if it is a hoax or not.
