I think one Lambo would be enough for me and then I would have room in that cool garage for a Turbo Porsche,a ZR-1 Corvette,a 427 AC Cobra ,and maybe a nice Mercedes CLS 63 AMG .....you know , some variety! :-]
Fergie, You just can't let the government control what citizens want to buy (aside from WMD and the like). Taking from the wealthy to give to the people who don't produce anything takes away the incentive for workers to be innovative and strive to better themselves. Why work harder when the gov is just going to take it away? Socialism makes for a very boring society.

@#18 My wife and I each got a 'stimulus' check from Bush a couple months ago but the rich people did not get one. President Ford sent us one in 1975. Both Republicans. Jimmy Carter killed a plan to send rebate checks in 1977,he was a Democrat like Obama. Obama and his liberal cohorts will wreck the economy even more,don't you think? (since they caused it in the first place)

Not really sure what to think of this...........
I'm think of all the money it would take to do something like that, not just the price of the cars but the whole popping up out the earth thing, and then 2 of the cars are still out in the open, not in a covered garage for protection and he has a garage but it's filled with a bunch of crap (ok, 1 car and a 1/2 a load of crap) so I say to myself, "Self, that guys a moron!" and of course, I don't answer myself because then I'd be as crazy as that guy....

@#21 Being a well coached speaker does not make you a leader. Obama has never held a job in the private sector or served in the military and during a speech if his teleprompter fails he talks like an idiot. I submitted a video to snotr showing that very thing but the mods chose not to show it. McCain was a Naval officer and knows how to command. Sarah Palin is Commander-in-Chief of the Alaska National Guard and has top-secret clearance because of the missile-defense system the US has in Alaska. Obama is not even qualified for a low-security rating because of his affiliations with William Ayers and Tony Rezko (a Syrian born real-estate developer) who is now in prison.

These allegations appear to stem from a blog post that included "fake Governor Sarah Palin quotes" made up by a blogger at unbearablebobness.typepad.com. He states that his blog post was an attempt to satirize Gov. Palin's beliefs, and does not reflect those beliefs in any way.
The direct quote from unbearablebobness.typepad.com is as follows:
"God made dinosaurs 4,000 years ago as ultimately flawed creatures, lizards of Satan really, so when they died and became petroleum products we, made in his perfect image, could use them in our pickup trucks, snow machines and fishing boats. Now, as to the ANWR, Todd and I often enjoying caribou hunting and one year we shot up a herd big time, I mean I personally slaughtered around 40 of them with my new, at the time, custom Austrian hunting rifle. And guess what? That caribou herd is still around and even bigger than ever. Caribou herds actually need culling, be it by rifles or wolves, or Exxon-Mobil oil rigs, they do just great!"
The post concludes with the following disclaimer:
"Disclaimer: She didn't actually say these things - I made them up. But thanks for all the visits."
It thus appears that, to a large extent, people have attributed this belief to Gov. Palin after believing that she actually made what many believe to be 'fictional' statements.

Barf , I tried that link but it said the page could not be found. Since LA Times is in that link it is probably the one debunked here.

An LA Times article has cited an anonymous source as stating that, shortly after being elected mayor of Wasilla, Alaska in 1996, Sarah Palin stated that she believed humans and dinosaurs existed at the same time. Some have questioned the truth of those allegations because the person who told that story operates a political blog primarily directed toward opposing Palin's candidacy, the source never published his story prior to Palin's nomination for Vice President, there were apparently no other witnesses to the statement, and no one else has come forward as stating that they have heard Palin endorse similar beliefs. (See Related Links for the LA Times article.) Apparently, the article has not gained wide circulation in other newspapers partly because of questions related the truth of the source's allegations.

@#29 Munger,who is anti-Palin made those statements and they have never been verified by any witnesses and they do not jive with any stated belief of hers. He is an Obama supporter and probably gay.

Hey #9, what do you think actors/ professional athletes/ and many others make? But you're right, they must all be crooks. Why do so many people care what other people do with their money? But soon we will learn money creates greed. It's nice to appreciate the workmanship of the cars and the lift, but never give it more than a passing glance because jealousy and ego are hard to control.

#9 i highly doubt someone could afford 5 lambos selling drugs, not unless you are Tony Montana, in which case you would probably be living in a mansion, not a penthouse. also, i imagine that it would be pretty difficult to explain 5 lambos bought with drug money. it is likely that the person who owns those cars owns their own business, like in manufacturing or investing.

#19 stimulus checks do absolutely nothing for the economy because they are non perpetual. you stimulate the economy by creating jobs. if bush put that money towards starting all kinds of companies, he would have stimulated the economy.

@#32 The stimulus check was nice to get even if it could not jump-start the economy,but the reason I mentioned them is because it has only been Republicans who have given them. Democrats never give back anything to the tax-payers.
Bush could not use that money to start all kinds of companies because the Government is not supposed to start companies.....but what it can do is give tax breaks to large and small businesses to stimulate investment,growth and the need to hire more employees. If the large corporations keep being taxed to death they will continue to move to other countries where the taxes are lower. Democrats do not seem to understand that.They think they can tax us out of this slump but that never works.

#33 agreed... except for the part you said that the government isn't supposed to start companies... the government in reality is one giant company... and republicans start companies all of the time, only they start companies that damage the economy, like waste-full fossil fuel and military technologies.

I've seen these before, they cost around 25000 pounds to install and can be put in area's where larger garages can't be put.
For example if you have no personal parking in the street, you can put it under the street parking and will happily support the weight of the car above. you can also put it under grass, a lawn or a path. Very handy. i've always wanted one!
