This guy (Luke Aikins) is nuts! :x

I watched this on the news earlier so didn't bother watching the video. My opinion is that it's a big net. If they want to make it more dangerous they should make the net smaller, I'm thinking a trampet or maybe a pair of women's tights on a washing line .>:)

just imagine those few last seconds when he is back down, it must feel like eternity.

I'm not sure this record will be challenged soon :P

Must have felt awesome right about till the others opened up their parachutes and swooshed away.

but then it must have felt 1000 times more awesome to be able to stand up out of that net and know that he's alive and wel.

Did I miss something, because where did it say it was a record?

Meh, not impressed.. Make a jump like Felix Baumgartner and land it on the same net in high crosswinds.. Then you get my thumbs up! ;)

#5 No it wasn't. Not only it wasn't a freefall but a flight with a wingsuit, but it was a fall only from 2,500ft compared to the 25.000ft fall that Luke did ;)

Ok, Stop!
Close your eyes.
Now, imagine you are stepping off a plane at 25000 feet.
Without a parachute.
I couldn't do it.
How about you?
