I understand most of what he´s saying and it´s mostly true. One thing though, I don´t like, is him telling both the kid and the father that being black is gonna be hard. That´s just counter productive and creates racism. Everyone nowadays is so eager till eliminate this that we end up creating it. Surely they will face people that´s racist but to imprint a child that society is working against you i do not think is a constructive way :(

Young children should not be braking wood with hands as there are lots of small bones there If he was a good sensei he would know better as a black belt instructor I would not send any one to his dojo he is so full of bs

Yeah #2 I hear you...
The first one to bring color into it is...
can I even say it?
Racist.
That's right..
I wasn't even thinking about it, until it was brought up.
I hate that crap.
It's just another excuse anyway.
I honor Men... all the way from Jesse Owens to Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods...
I don't even think twice about their color.
Men!
Not white. Not black.
Just MEN...

Dannelito, how the black adults are supposed to protect and prevent bad things to happen to their children? You cannot change easily the fact that some men are racists and the fact that a black man life is less easy in USA. Trying to be better, working harder and being more cautious is in my point of view a prudent path.
A more revolutionary solution would be gather white and black together in as many activities as possible, trying to be more intelligent and trying go past slavery and racism bad memories but I don't believe the americans would have the will to do it rather that staying alone.
