Does one make people kinder and more caring, while the other makes people greedy and more selfish?

All of those sophisms are centered upon one single country which is doomed and has always been (USA), for its stupidity that has been bred for ages... This fucking video, and whoever that cunt narrating it is, is simply a proof of how blind americans are... And that is simply proven by how americans are educated compared to everyone else (in the western world, europe, canada, australia etc.). Fuck this video delete it asap.

lol this person is amazing and he calls this work. He wants people to work and dont educate them remember good old days when only some people could read?
so he is saying socializem provides health, education, paid vacation, retire, sick days, paterniry maternity leave and the list gets longer... and these are bad things?
while capitalizem provides corruption and that is enough said.

What a shitty brainwashing attempt..

"capitalism teaches people to work more" yes, for some greedy bastards who will do anything to pay you less, no matter how much you work (or fire you at the first sign of weakness) because there are always more idiots there willing to "work even more" and if there aren't enough, they will lobby to take in more desperate immigrants who would sell their soul for a shitty job and live in misery, not like you, always complaining about fairness and shit. Yes, capitalism is great but unchecked capitalism is foolish and will ruin itself.

well then.... >:) no wonder nobody likes what he's saying (judging from the idiotic comments #1-3 and the video rating). unfortunately he forgot to mention that wellfare state is also not possible to maintain in the long run due to ever increasing costs for the "services". many of the european wellfare countries are already in trouble because only half of the working age population is actually working and they need to support the other half who are leeching on the social support (i hear in GB there are now actually 2-nd generation leeches -- the parent and child both have never worked a day and are completely dependent on social support). the less people a country has the more quickly the system implodes but a big country (like Spain, Greece.. or US) can get by quite some time before the issue becomes critical. there are systems in place that can postpone the effect (such as printing more money) but in the end there is no escape.
here, all the infrastructure systems are already being rained in because state does not have enough money (we are only one million people country) to upkeep all the benefits. for example (there are plenty more) they plan to close all except 3 big hospitals that will be centralized to the 3 biggest cities. the sick will have to take a bus to get help. more than 150km from some places. but at least in theory it's free :D

This showed up in my feed summary, and I thought to myself based only on the title, that this would most likely be Sux2bu.

Fanbois for neo-liberal capitalism, which is the system that has wrought havoc with the worlds economies, always blame the victims of the system and call them leeches.
Many people in middle and low income jobs have barely seen any improvement in their incomes over the past 30 years. While those at the top have become very rich, the disappearance of many middle-paid, skilled occupations and an ongoing squeeze on wages has led to a poorer, more divided Britain . In 2006, nearly 3% of the population had zero or negative wealth (defined as all household goods and possessions including cars and owner-occupied houses after deducting financial liabilities), while 10% had less than £7,390. The richest 10% was more than 100 times as wealthy as the poorest 10%! Low income workers have seen their pay rise by 27% in real terms over the past 30 years but rises for the top 10% of earners have been four times higher.

Bakers' wages have actually fallen by 1% in the last 30 years, while they fell 5% for forklift truck drivers and 3% for packers and bottlers in the same period. Some unskilled and semi-skilled jobs now pay little more in real terms - and in some cases less- than they did in the late 1970s.

Low pay is now the chief cause of poverty, with the proportion of poor children in working households standing at 61%. There are almost twice as many people now earning a third less than the median compared with 1977. And many workers on low and middle incomes are in white-collar employment (while their parents were more likely to be skilled or semi-skilled manual workers). Despite a much more educated workforce, significant numbers have stagnated in income terms. Indeed, despite often being relatively less well paid than the jobs of the past, and being relatively menial in nature, many of today's middling jobs require much higher qualifications than their equivalents a generation ago.

#4. In the UK in many cases the people who are labeled as "leeches" are those in my age bracket ( I'm 64 ) and are on a pension. Now I have a small private pension to come...and a state pension, both of which start next year...and what happens? The state pension is now being called a "Benefit"! How can it be a "benefit" if we paid into it via our National insurance contributions? its not a ruddy benefit...it's a RIGHT! We bloody well PAID for it! Not only that...but in some cases you have to pay tax on your pension....how's that again? We paid tax on what we earned ( part of which was to pay the National insurance 'contributions' )...then we have to pay tax on the pension that we paid tax on in the first place? Before you know it we'll be paying tax on the tax on the tax on the tax on the money we spent on getting the pension in the first place...or are we already?....my head hurts...I'm going back to bed :-(

It's sad (and so predictable) how the truth gets down voted here.

#9 "and I thought to myself based only on the title, that this would most likely be Sux2bu."
Yes I do like to bring forth topics that evoke thoughtful consideration on subjects that
need airing in the forum of public opinion.
Glad you liked it and agreed.

#10 i didn't mean pensioners (though some "pensioners" have well earned the title - check here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/02/eu-demands-britain-pays-pensions-of-1730-eurocrats-in-wake-of-br/). i meant those who are unemployed on purpose. And, at least you're still getting some pension! Enjoy it! According to all current predictions, i will not be getting any pension when i reach your age because there will not be enough working citizens. the government is "working on a fix" for the past 5 years. i think there is going to be a new government here coming next elections. a conservative one instead of the current leftist-liberal. and the current one is so scared now. the propaganda machine resembles the soviet times already. it's kind of funny even :)

Wake up call for American people:

- People in socialist countries live longer on average than Americans

- People in socialist countries live healthier on average than Americans

- People in socialist countries are happier on average than people in the USA

- Socialist countries spend less on healthcare than the USA but generally get a better outcome while treating everyone and leaving no one behind.

- People in socialist countries generally make more money for less work than in the USA, then can make even more money than Americans if they are willing to work as much as Americans.

- The USA has one of the highest poverty rate of all industrialized nations.

- The USA is ranked 22nd best country to do business, 9 of the top 10 countries for business are SOCIALIST countries., ... http://www.forbes.com/best-countries-for-business/#/tab:overall

- The USA has the highest death count by firearms of all industrialized countries and the largest proportion of its population in jail in the WORLD...

Despite all of that, the USA still believes that it is the best country in the world... Talking about self-imposed blindness...

I would first like to ask what is everyones definition of socialist country. I mean real socialist not what some are calling European countries. I live in a socialist country and while there are some benefits I believe the U.S. has a better system. I guarantee most of the negative comments here come from people who have never tried opening their own business but have worked for other people. It is funny how the ones who called other people brainwashed seem to be the ones who need education.

#20 good point not only they suck at socialism they suck at capitalism as well and now they will elect dictator, couse they cant thrust corrupted politician. Greatest reality show on earth.
Once mexicans pay for the wall rest of the world should chip in for the roof.
And all this riddled with news how ex military guns-down police couse police has a shitty attitude towards people to whom they give guns and then became scared for their lives and this is good enough reason to shot at anyone.
While they stir-up middle east region couse of their oil appetites. Giving europe refuge migration to deal with, probably of a magnitude never seem before in history. and using these civil unrests for further excuse to promote war.

Paid for by the 1%. Or maybe even the 0.1% to whom the current monetary system benefits the most!

By this guy's logic the right to (having access to) clean air, water, food and shelter (which are basic universal rights accepted by the UN), are just "entitlements"? Payed forth by the "welfare state"? And when the government subsidizes the oil and coal industry instead of the sustainable energy sources that's not "the welfare state"? When the government subsidizes Walmart by giving food stamps to their employees because Walmart doesn't pay them a livable wage (which is even lower than the somewhat better "decent" wage of 15 $/hour), so that their top people can be billionaires while their employees are on food stamps, that's not "the welfare state"? Sure it's not, if we believe you. But if we know better, we know that this guy is full of s***...

here is a nice long lesson in history of capitalism and its shadow socialism
Socialism is a criticism of capitalism on a philosopher level.
