this gun issue in US is really huge... for me its an issue because more and more people have a gun and most people find it normal.
Everybody get a gun to protect themselves from the other guns... but thats a stupid viscious circle...
I live in europe and i dont say that we dont have guns, but way much less, i never saw one except on a cop and im happy about it. At least if i get robbed, i just get punched or kicked but not killed... Europe is not heaven either, but at least we are not in a gun paranoia.

Having a figure in authority (even if it is soon the be the leader of mad americans) protected by guns has nothing to do with banning handguns for normal everyday people, who quite frankly dont need a gun.
Best way is to shoot all the americans who own a gun.

#10 I own guns not for the reason of defending myself "from other guns", but for sport shooting and pesky varmint shooting (clays, squirrels....).
Though I would use my fire arms if somebody with a bad intention invaded my house.

What most Americans I have spoken to about the gun issue simply don't get is that it is extremely nice to live in a society without guns. Thankfully I live in a country where the elected government has the sense and the balls to support the majority by telling rednecks they can't have everything their dumb asses want.

Face it your short time of being a powerhouse nation is coming to a end, Most of us in europe have been there done it lived through it, got the history for it and now we can sit smug and laugh at you lot over the water.

once more your comments are proving me that you are everything i dont wanna be... thats really so retarded to think that guns are the solution.. Why do you think your country has the more crime rate and killing by guns? are you really proud of that ? can you be proud of that ? thats insane...
you talk about history so proudly, of course we will never forget that you came to help europe during world war 2... but most civilised european countries also learnt that guns and wars are not the solution that why now france and germany are friends and 2 of the most powerfull countries in europe. So if i listen to what you say, we should all have a weapon home just in case one other country would invade us? hahahaha... ok so i will keep a magnum under my pillow in case the belgian army strikes secretly next week... hahahahah... come on... When i see where youre war against terror has bring your country, im very happy that we stayed out of it. You get your soldier killed in a country who DIDN'T want to invade you at all and which didnt even have nuke weapons...
Anyway, im proud to live in a country almost gunfree, we are not in the farwest anymore guys. How sad.
