Eglinton Crosstown - Former Kodak Building Move
Construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, including 15 underground stations, is underway. One exciting part of that work includes re-locating the building at 3500 Eglinton Avenue West – the former Kodak building – to prepare for the future Mount Dennis Station at that location. Here is a time-lapse video of how we moved that 3,000-tonne building.

#5 neither do I .. i have to deal with conservationists every once in a while and we disagree on almost every occasion
it's not that i disrispect history it's just that i dont believe every fucking building is worth preserving.
there are buildings which cant be build today because the techniques have been forgotten or the craftsmanship isnt on the level to replicate it so of course it should be preserved.. there are situations where it is cheaper to renovate .. but to save a sceleton concrete ruin .. move it around .... i'm impressed
