Starting out life as small children with perhaps the whole world at their small feets. And ending up with not much good life left. Have had friends that gone thru this. Some are dead by now... Most people that tries drugs manage to get off it. But some goes down - deep down. .... hope things turned out better for at least some of the above....

The drug problem in America is really nothing to laugh at or make jokes about. It's really quite sad what drugs, especially meth does to people. I do believe that some people are more likely to be addicts than others just as some drugs (including alcohol and caffeine) are easier to become addicted to. Unfortunately, these people are probably beyond help, but the video could be or should be a commercial, like the old "this is your brain on drugs" commercial. Actually seeing these faces might stick with a young person and they may recall this commercial at an oportune moment in their lives. Recalling an egg frying in a pan wouldn't influence my decision to try some hard drug (it certainly didn't keep me from smoking #'s of pot), but remembering these faces might.

Sorry for the long winded statement. I just hope that most of you have enough decency to not make to many stupid or mean comments.

My long winded statment is this...Agree or disagree with me my views on drugs are so..The goverments of this world when making drug seizures should fattaly contaminate the drugs and put them back on the streets...This would serve two purposes(1)Any druggie with some brain cells left would come off the stuff as they would never know if there next fix would be there last..(2)It would help rid society of the low life scum bags who rob and murder for there next hit....NO Sypathy here for druggies.

Those last 2 didn't look that great from the start to be honest. Thank god I learned my lesson when I was younger. If you do drugs keep them the F**K away from children, I was ill for 3 days after consuming pills in an unmarked bag that I thought were sweets when I was a child. #10 I don't agree that would be a good course of action but you also said no sympathy for them, that I agree with. You have a choice, you hear bulls**t stories about how they were stressed, or how everybody else was doing it. Honestly to all you druggies out there how relaxed do you feel and much do you think you fit in now when most people think your the scum of the earth. And you be fugly, and MsZoomy why can't we laugh at it, were not the dumb idiots in this video, we made the right choices. I didn't do everything my friends did, they still respect me.

#14 yes, you can laugh if you want, it won't say much for your character if you do, but that's your choice.
Unfortunately, meth (and this is from what I've read not from experience) is the hardest drunk to come clean of. These people literally can not stop and poisoning it, as one person suggested, will not keep them from doing it, just as scratching the crap out of themselves doesn't.
As a former pothead myself don't believe the statement that pot is a"gateway" drug that leads to other, more hard core drugs. What I do believe is that some people are just weaker than others, whether it be hereditary, psychological, physiological, or enviromental. Once they start on a downward spiral they lack the resolve or sense of purpose or whatever it is that makes the more rational of us say enough is enough.

It's to late for the people in these photos, they will never be "normal" again, but hopefully someone out there has seen this and will remember it when they find themselves at the pivitol point that can change their lives forever.

This is only the effect of one drug. Meth is horrendously addictive and damaging.

All this "gateway drug" crap about weed and pills is a load of crap. Everyone has control over what they do.

There is a BIG difference between recreational drug users and meth/crack/junk addicts. People who like to pop a pill or do a bit of speed at the weekend arent the scum of the earth at all. Often very intelligent people who know their limits.

views like #10 are rather extreme. It is most definately not OK to contaminate a drug which could end up killing a valued member of society just because they fancied trying an E on a night out.

I just want to say that I've spent my 15 years as a heroin addict. In those 15 years i didn't rob no bank, pull no mother of six for her purse, did NOT give no drugs to young or underaged, did not steal cars or any shit like this.. I even don't have any file at police and i never had.. Acutally - I am sure i know better then 99% of you - just few out of 100 of drug users DO make bad criminal acts to get drugs.. All the rest is just small stuff, stuff like non-working lazy asses do THE SAME!!! And I am sure there is more of nonworking lazybastards as there are junkeys.
I don't say my conciousness is clean, i feel BAD LIKE HELL just coz i was doing drugs, i didn't have to make bs like someone mentioned (KILLING PPL FOR DRUGS... whatta idiot).
