What's with the warning? If you can't handle that, you shouldn't be on the internet.

#2 Now I'm getting a huge deja vù sensation, didn't we talk about this before on a previous video? Why are you so against warning messages? They don't change your viewing pleasure..:|

At the end of the day it's a choice to hike, especially in that area where this happened. The guy knew the risks and he has probably hiked there a lot, but like always - if you play with fire long enough eventually you'll burn yourself. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. That's life for you. You could walk down the street to buy food, get mugged and knifed to death in the city. Every day we take unnecessary risks without thinking much about it, you live in the moment.

He had a pistol and chose to use bear spray!
Amazing act of animal loving or just asking for it?

Trying to shoot a large grizzly charging straight at you with a pistol would only be effective if it was a large caliber and you already had it in your hands before the bear started its charge. And even then shot placement would be critical and might just infuriate the griz. Bear spray is over 90% effective at stopping bear attacks and changing the bear's attitude, and I am sure this fellow was well aware of that.

#7 ty, i was thinking he should have grizzly gun since he kinda knew he was in grizzly country.
i guess he wasnt really planing to harm them and he seems a bit too cheerful commenting on the event. I d say he went in poking and got more than he asked for.
Did same grizzly attacked twice?
Somehow i fell it is safer to be motocross rider with all the noise and armor for knees, arms, body and head gloves and boots and there are lot of sports or work places with protection gear to chose from.
