You know how occasionally you don't take to someone? Well, and I'm not proud of this but I can't abide Nicola Sturgeon the first minister of Scotland. I have many friends who are Scottish so it's not a England Scotland thing, She is just so far up her own backside and irritates the outer layer of my own for the record I also can't stand Michael Macintyre I wonder if there is a connection apart from the fact that they probably both have small willies and don't make me laugh

Interesting little video, although the reporting of historical events is somewhat vague!
As the 22nd Great-Grandson of Robert de Brus (King Robert 1st of Scotland), I agree with the first part of Scotsman50's comment at, #8.
However, perhaps some of the comments relating to political opinions and language use are rather unwelcome and non-constructive.
I think that the self-opinionated comments made by Scotsman50 regarding today's political leaders, should be addressed by someone who has a sufficiently open mind and not by an individual who has already shown willingness to take the "Kings Shilling"!
On a more positive and constructive note, I would like to give fjwjr, at #5 the opportunity to learn a little more about the Scottish/English languages, so here's a link to a video that's seriously worth posting ............... http://www.educationscotland.gov.uk/media/bcff6555-513f-42fc-ab6e-3de0aaa0dbe3/ScotsLanguage2-360.mp4
Enjoy.
