I remember in the 80s when those big cell phones came out, we lied in North Carolina at the time, and I saw new billboards and advertisings everywhere for cell phones...even though I didn't really understand the concept I realized it was revolutionary, my then husband said "some day everyone will have one of them"...I couldn't imagine that...here we are..

I remember in the early 90's a friend's father worked for one of the large phone companies and he told me some day everyone will have their own number. I couldn't envision what he was talking about! I narrowly imagined everyone in the house using the same device but somehow had their own branch like at work. Could not imagine walking around with one. Crazy.
