What is a Fossa?

The Fossa or the Cryptoprocta feroxas (which is what the scientifically smart people call it), is the largest carnivore on the island Madagascar. Even though it eats the most popular animal that comes from that island, the lemurs, it still needs our attention and protection so that this important predator can continue to roam the 4th largest island in the world.

#2 Did you ever see the movie "Madagascar" ? There were fossa everywhere.
Throughout the movie they are shown to terrorize the lemurs and attempt to eat them. According to King Julien, "they're always annoying us by trespassing, interrupting our parties, and ripping our limbs off."
