Kinetic sculpture looks like birds in flight.

Diffusion Choir" is a kinetic sculpture that simulates the movement of an invisible flock of birds. The "birds" are white hexagons made of fabric that hang in garlands from the ceiling. When a hexagon opens and closes, it looks like a bird flapping its wings. Each piece can move independently, and they work together to make patterns. It's controlled by software running a flocking algorithm.

It is installed at BioMed Realty Trust's building at 650 East Kendall Street in Cambridge. MA, USA

Beautiful, but it's not really simulating invisible birds, because invisible birds are invisible.

"When a hexagon opens and closes, it looks like a bird flapping its wings"

No. It looks like a piece of paper folding and unfolding.
This video is almost as bad as Jake's sad offerings.

well i love it , and fox... you should try LSD, or at least mushrooms :)

P.S, looks maybe sad to see hotels as patrons of art but.. the past wasn't different
it sticks to money .. it's not easy to contemplate for living..

#5 I've eaten mushrooms plenty of times.
LSD? From what I've read, LSD could make dog shit appear mystical. So I'm not sure how that relates to paper folding. I think I'll stick to mushrooms of the non-magic variety.
