#2 this would not happen in the US. I've been to too many countries and learned that US's traffic laws are well superior. Obviously they couldn't do this downtown in some metropolis, but then again, most people in the ghetto tend to walk.

took place in french countryside (lotsa elder people), wouldnt happen quietly in any 'normal' city anyway :D
