Well I've chosen my spot for another holiday home but I have a sinking feeling that I'm not going to get many takers.
Having watched this animation, fictively speaking, I can't see why on Earth (or Mars) we would want to go there. A year and a half traveling there and back, plus time spent there for a colourless dead planet where we can't even breath without oxygen masks. We might just as well colonise the moon.

Nope for Mars...rather spend it here, near the never ending snow avalanche

#5 No the whole idea is just silly. It would be far far cheaper to have another world war, get the population down to the bear minimum and then there would be lots of extra space and empty property down here. It could be all done and dusted by the time the first mars crew got back home.
