100ft Dirt bike dune-jump landed onto Jeep Wrangler hood
100 ft dirt bike jump landed onto Jeep wrangler hood/bonnet during a desert free ride motocross session in the Qatar dunes.
My mate hit a big dune jump and due to lack of communication between the boys at the top of the dune nobody saw the jeep coming until he was airborne, he landed on the hood but thankfully rode away like a boss.
An unbelievable escape from what could of been a deadly dune wreck/crash

Not to worry, that will buff right out...
The whole lot are a bunch of knuckleheads. The motorcyclists for jumping over what may appear to be a main track for jeeps and not having a lookout for traffic, and the jeep drivers for blithely driving on once they enter an area with geared up motorcyclist on the tops of dunes. And to both groups for literally managing to run across each other in what appears to be a pretty big open desolate desert. Takes some serious luck to create the conditions for this little near accident. One the plus side the moto rider has some great footage and an excellent story to tell - complete with proof.

You generally don't drive along expecting a motorcycle coming from above.

They're both lucky that's all he hit. When you're on the dunes you're supposed to be running flags on poles on your vehicle, but that wouldn't have helped here, it's too large of a hill. In general it does help with visibility.
