Liberation Day

Under the loving but firm guidance of an old fan turned director and cultural diplomat, and to the surprise of a whole world, the ex-Yugoslavian cult band Laibach becomes the first rock group ever to perform in the fortress state of North Korea.

That must have been an earth shattering experience for the North Koreans. Apparently the trip was pleasant for the band too. Thank you for the upload, manro, good to get a different opinion through this :)

Hmmmph...if that said that about Laibach...imagine what they would have said about Disturbed!

#2 They would have been okay if they opened with The sound of silence, after which I'm guessing the regime would be overthrown. :D

It reminds me of Elton John's tour in USSR back in '79, 10 years before the iron curtain went down.

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/elton-john-russian-tour-1979/

The soviet journalists nicknamed the percussionist, Ray Cooper, the "Disco Official" because he was wearing a white shirt and a tie while playing drums on stage.

Is this a sign that North Korea could start opening in the next years ?
