I don't know what kind of life you have had but I can say there are "bad guys" out there. When someone can put a gun to a man's head who is kneeling and begging for their life whose only crime is to be walking in the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time is a bad guy in my opinion. What I have learned is that there are good and bad guys in all countries, all religions, all social classes.

#3 I don't think pure evil exists. Is the abused child without perspective who thus has a truly broken emotional and ethical compass evil? Is the politician who is telling us there is only black and white and unkowningly and maybe even unwillingly condemns millions to death truly good? Is it the right path to kill everyone who has ever done anything the society deems bad or is it our job as a world people to try to guide them back?

Yes, there is bad guys out there, in positions where they can do harm on a whole lot of different levels. Bad, because they are accustomed to sins, bad because they are stupid enough to don't care or to don't see the harm they do, bad because they strive for something and don't care about anything in their way. But to think that a whole country or a whole religion is bad is a whole lot stupider than to think that a person is evil out of no reason at all.

If my kid just remembered one piece of education I sure hope that it is to never think that he's so superclever that he can sort out a problem hundreds and thousands have had before him and to look deeper and deeper into it, till he finds the reason why it is more complex than he thought in the beginning.

#3 we had war here from 1991 to 1995
i've lost my father, my first cousin (who was 17) and many other ..
but now i see ( and 26 years had to pass) that those who killed him were not bad guys .. just brain washed and abused and mostly drunk soldiers in a mass histeria that was fueled by evil and selfish politicians that only fueled the war to gain personal profit.
So when grenade kills 20 bad guys .. it kills 2-3 absolute freaks that deserve worse than dying and 17 of not-innocent but misguided and weak people that are just on the other side

The speeches they had preceeding the war were identical to those i hear from Trump these days .. it starts with US and THEM
that is the worst thing a man can do .. to think beacuse of a quality in which a person is better than someone else to think he is worth more.

P.s. the guys that shot my cousin were filming their righteous fight and after seeing their documentarys... i see they were thinking the same .. that we were the bad guys that want to take their jobs

This recipe has worked for Millenia, so why change it. The others are the bad guys, we are better than them, we should destroy them. i guess once you have witnessed a war (same one as ComentAtor, but on the other side), it changes your point of view.

I refuse to believe to have any moral highground on croatians, bosnians, albanians, turks, muslims in general, as I refuse that they have any. Took me a while, to shake of that propaganda but it made me more resistant towards modern day propaganda.
