If time travel to the past was possible I seriously doubt things would be like they are right now. So clearly it isn't possible and *never* will be since the effects of that would be noticeable by us living right now and our past history wouldn't be nearly as grim. Who knows how the world will look(assuming it's still around) 1000 years from now. All we have to do is look back at our history 1000 years ago and see how drastically things have changed. Imagine describing an airplane or a nuclear reactor to someone living during 8th century! Yeah, they'd probably toss you into the bonfire.

#1 Or no one has traveled into the past yet and when a discovery is made that it is possible a law is passed not allowing travel into the past earlier than 2020.... just saying.:D

My fear is the hypothetical concept of the multiverse. As in, Yes, you can travel back in time but whose time is it? Is it one the of infinite universes that may exist all at the same time to 'this' one? Or in creating the 'wormhole' with a time twist, did you make the universe. Therefore any changes that occur negates any possibility of a grandfather paradox. Or does the grandfather paradox become completely redundant in a multiverse? Until someone shows me a wormhole it remains almost on the same page as faith.
