Mrs Eagle Up Close & Personal

4/24/17 On the video I posted this morning someone ask how close I can get to Mrs. Eagle on my porch. I went to leave my house tonight and decided to show how close I can get. No zoom in this video. I felt like I could touch Mrs. Eagle and pet her but I don't dare. I want her to feel safe with me and I do believe it is against the law to touch an eagle. Even if they are injured we have to get the troopers to come help the eagle and can't touch them. I took this video on my porch at my house in Unalaska, Alaska.

The reaction from the bird tells me humans have been feeding it, which I guess is a bigger problem than just touching it.

#1 In Dutch Harbor, Alaska, they have so many eagles they're considered a pest. Over 500 in a fairly small port, they're like pigeons they're so annoying.
