An airplane lands in at Toncontín International Airport in the capital of Honduras.
Similar to the landing at St. Martin.

Man that looked rather weird to me I would have loved to have been in that plane at that time. What a pilot.

#5 - The impressive thing about the landing is that it is done on such a small landing site. The runway is narrow and not very long. but the pilot still manages to land the plane!
I bet the number-monkey was the pilot in this one!!

Yes, this is impresive, but it can be even more impressive. Check this vid: a landing at Princess Juliana Airport, St. Maarten.

That's amazing.. The pilot must be very an experienced person to do that..Thinking about the landing weight of the plane and its speed, how did he ever make it on that such short runway..
And he even easily avoid the hill..
Agree with #11, awesome landing. but can he speed up fast enough to taking off ? I'm sur he can, but stopping isn't supose to be faster than accelarate ?

obviously it seems hard for us... but it's easy for any pilots i guess... title says International Airport. So i don't think were any pilot refused to land on it... i bet every pilot did it same.. ... So what's big deal?
Can you imagine living at the end of that runway? Probably crapping your knickers hoping the plane is going to stop in time everytime you hear a jet coming in........

#13 - aircraft is not like cars.. landing speed is more than take off speed.. they accelerate to 180-220 km/h to take off (usually for boeing 737) and landing from the sky, from the descent mode, at about 320-360 km/h.. they have to use their aileron, spoiler, landing gear's breaks(wheels), and their angle to decrease the speed dramatically..
*sorry, my english is not very well..
#14 - you are right.. many pilots can do that, but not freshies pilots(new pilots, newly graduated from flying school).. they got to have a lot experiences to do that..maybe more than 200 flying hours..
#15 - I think I will pissed when I see an aircraft coming right towards at me..

What? you guys never seen a aircraft landing?
That's just crazy. It's amazing how little space he has to actually land the plane. He turns almost 90 degrees just a little ways away from the airport. Most have a straight line right into the landing which makes it 100 times easier.
