Because a nice car is next to useless on a farm...Each machine has a purpose to them...A tractor is great in the farm but crap on the road...Now what would the livelihood of the farmer be if he got a nice car but his main source of income was taken away from him? Its why I dont get it...

For me, he should have been given both the car and the tractor or give him a better tractor...
