Interesting idea, does this also turn the victim right up like real life jacket does? It really doesn't help you if you pop up on the surface after 30 sec, but still facing down. How tightly that thing goes around your neck, there is regulations in EU which regulates how much force is applied and it should break.
And there is already Co2 inflatable life jackets on market.

#2 How on earth could you pop up on the surface upside down? That would require your legs and torso to be out of the water and just your head submerged....Sorry but it's a double monkey and a single from me

#3 You can float easily on back/stomach in water. There is no natural force to turn you over. And if you are already unconsciousness, nothing is going to turn your so called upright position. Thats why life jacket has that chest part, and one behind your neck, which makes you float easily face up. And even turn your automatically to that right position.

I approve traditional methods of learning how to swim.
hight of water, life guards or at least other people who are better at swimming and lots of floating devices.
I wonder how this 30 sec trigger detects, it has to activate.
This head pulling device... consider step on a nail or bed of nails. .... its better to spread out and you sink less and its air bags are way high up hardly on level with nose.
And like all vertebra we are prone to prone in any substance, baby nirvana.
Bra with air bags is better option.
I would wait for later version.
