Car service scam

I was scammed by this place today (They broke my ignition and said I had to pay $1500 extra for them to fix it) on top of the $900 stuff they insisted was safety issues... I want everyone to be aware

A bit long and a bit obvious. This happens all over the world I'm sure. Find yourself a good local mechanic ask around for recommendations. He's worth his or Her weight in Gold. Avoid dealerships, they are all bastards as are most garages. :|

People trying to make money by taking shortcuts, what a shocker. It happens in *every* profession out there.

Well, sad, works like that everywhere, however, it's clear that most of the people have no clue how car works and what is/isn't normal. Sad as well. The situation is much better in not so rich european countries where people are sometimes forced to find a cheaper solution. So they ask they friends or learn how to change the brakes, all the fluids, etc.

#5 Trying to scam the SNOTR community is also very unpopular. If your http turns out to be unrelated to your comment you will be dealt with swiftly and removed from the site.
