People aren’t having enough babies in Denmark so they made this provocative ad

Denmark is struggling to keep their population at 5.6 million. The biggest cause for the decline: young couples aren't having babies. One Danish travel agency, Spies Rejser, is urging young couples to go on vacation, where the chances of conceiving are higher.

Now...if they were to send some of those tall, slim, blonde, blue eyed, drop dead gorgeous girls over here...I'd be willing to 'contribute' to the cause!

Yep, that will definitely work for the pairs not wanting to have a baby and using whatever form of anticonception ;). .....and, there is not such right to be grandma.

#3 I agree....having sex for fun and having sex wanting a baby are two totally different things.

#2 You are a generous man, cameramaster! ;)

It's only a "problem" in highly educated first world countries. Careers will always take first hand. Generally speaking the less education a woman has the more likely she is to have a child at a lower age. Obviously it's completely reversed in poor countries, no surprise there.

This seems not to be a problem in some countries/cultures where men measure their self-worth and manliness by how many children they have, and those usually are the under-educated and poorer countries where population control is badly needed.

Apparently birth rates have dropped all over the globe.
India went from 5,86 to 2,4 in the last 50 years
china from 6,32 to 1,57
denmark from 2,57 to 1,69

If this trend continues all countries work their way to a birth rate of 1,5 kids per 1000 people per year, thus the maximum population of the planet probably will never exceed 12 billion and then dropping from that point pretty fast as old people in overaged societies die.

And we will have hell of a lot of problems during the next 100 years, till this lowered birth rate has cycled through the world and demographics have found a equilibrium.
