Excellent! I've had my fire spinning kit sat on the side waiting for me to grab it and dive out the door...unfortunately...I've messed up my right knee and cant walk far :-/
BUT ( he says ) I did manage to salvage some images of something else from a hard drive that had died on me. Light stick painting in Trafalgar square and along the embankment near London bridge...So I'm a happy bunny.
I did make a wee video if you want to go have a look ( Youtube ). Sorry about the soundtrack....there isn't one!

#2 Nice job, cameramaster with the Video on YT. A cool EDM track would go well with that, but I also find it nice without sound. My right knee hurts too off and on.

Absolutely astonishing how consumer items like the 360 cameras have become available, and the interesting images they create. I don't know whether it was on Snotr or elsewhere, someone was mounting these cameras onto arrows and shooting the arrows into the sky, which produced some cool clips.
The number of cool hobbyist toys available to boys/kids/anyone has exploded- Rasberry Pi's, Arduinos, consumer 3d printers, CNC router kits and CNC stuff, Computers, smart phones, GoPro's, Kite surfing, QuadCopters, YouTube, GarageBand, etc. etc. etc. None of this was around when I was young. I still always found interesting things to tinker with, but still.... now there is so much more.
Amazing, isn't it? If I were a kid, I think I'd have trouble deciding on which things to do!
Someone else please add to the things I've listed. Mine is only one viewpoint, I'm sure I left out tons of cool things.

#2 So did you actually stand in the centre of London likely wearing your kilt, spinning that thing around? I'm very surprised you did not get arrested or stabbed or sectioned.

#6. Yep! I did indeed! I got a few 'strange' looks...including from a couple of coppers ( in Trafalgar Square ) but I looked over at them and said 'It's called light painting' ( up until then they hadn't noticed the camera on it's tripod ), so they came over and I showed them on the camera the results I had so far...they were literally dumbstruck...I'll take it for granted they hadn't seen anything like it before :-)
