I agree with #(removed comment).
I don't think we should be fucking around with robots.
#(removed comment), #7, i disagree with both of you. robotics engineering is quite safe as long as it is developed within controlled levels. as soon as we start giving robots power and aggression, then we have something to worry about.

3:55 the robot fully says "Mini Pooper" it probably doesn't have the word cooper in its dbase... either that or it was referring to James May, his head was kinda close ![]()
At first it seems kinda stupid compared to some other computers, but once you realize that it is doing this all from its own recognition and interpretation and not just recognizing photo's of objects it's pretty impressive.
woww thats amazing id like one of those to be around me if i was home alone or something
lolz
i wonder if they tought how to play video games , would he be good at it hahaha
#6 Heh... my thoughts exactly. Its the Rise of the Robots everyone flee!
Seriously speaking, it is fun to see how far robots will evolve during our lifetime.
Amazing. And it's quite funny how people react when there's a new technology. Look at the telephone for example. When it came in to our world people where saying: "People never gonna see eachother" and such things. Almost always when a new technology arises people are thinking that we are at the and of our world
. So i disagree with #(removed comment) and #7 and agree with #8.
I couldn't help but think while watching this about that scene in Terminator 2 with the the feet of the terminators crushing the mound of skulls.
#4 James May is SO much that just 'Top Gear'.
IMHO anything that he puts his TV talent to is made interesting & accessible for everyone.
He just seems to have a talent for putting into words what the rest of us may find a complete mystery. Then we can start to understand & the penny drops ![]()
James May is awesome. I don't give a sh1t what anybody else says!
Thank you

#20 Yes, Captain Slow at his Best
#13 That's a short clip from "James May's Big Ideas - Episode 2: Man-Machine" first aired on the 5th of October 2008 on the BBC, and you (and your proxy) can find it on BBC's iPlayer.

If anyone teachs that professor to say ERGO, and turn a pen into a remote control, we are in trouble.

Just wait for the quantum computer in combination with ASIMO, you'll surely be impressed then (and maybe annihilated).
