#5 About the same time it would take all the dinosaurs that they're burning to get the power to run it, combined, to shred it
And yeh.. damn.. enormous waste ![]()

omg, imagine what it would to your hand if you tried to poke a disc down... OUCH! ![]()

#12 I might guess that you have high magnetism and some sort of combustable metal. Maybe magnesium in there?
The point is that someone might copy the information from HDD. To prevent it, you must destroy the HDD, which is faster or you must completly overwrite the whole disk with other information...
If I had to do a min wage job ... I could do this all day, everyday, and being paid to do this would be a bonus!

Wow , that's a lot of people worried about the kiddie porn they've previously downloaded .
If I were worried about a drive I'd just use a prog to overwrite a few time's , something like a password generator .
Any confidential stuff would have previously been encrypted .
Or is this a machine to get the gold and silver components out of the drives ?
If you want to make encrypted drives on your pc try :
http://www.truecrypt.org/
Very good , and free . Been using them for years without a problem.

It's good software for accounts and Correspondence etc .
You know , private stuff :-))
Still , at least I didn't sink so low as to admit I owned a Harley :-)))
How "hair dresser" is that ?

oldfart/Usanumber1 .
You have been one of the best stereotype's I have so far encountered online .
Not meant as an insult , though it sounds that way .
Seriously and genuinely , I do thank you .
Keep it up .

#(removed comment) :-) , cash is no problem .
Harley's are too unreliable for my taste and I'm not into spending my time polishing or making fashion statements .
Last bike I owned was a Jap 750 .
Had been riding nearly every day in all weathers for 31 years until I gave up around 4 years ago .
