Pole Position was & still is an awesome game. Pole Position 2 was even better as you got four tracks to select from. I'm talking about the arcade version.

And now, thanks to MAME, I can play it whenever I want :)

Anyone sees the resemblence with Test Drive from the Commodore 64? :)

I was very young when we go the Commodore but this game brings back memories. lol

Pretty much all TV from the early 80s was like that.
no...the 80s are a time best left forgotten. No one knows what we were trying to do..but it's best to NOT duplicate them :)

what a great race track they were on, laguna seca love the "corkscrew" part of the track

as for the game, what awesome graphics they are, im glad i got a hdtv so it can handle the graphics :P

It was pretty funny watching this......more so since i STILL have both a Commodore 64 ( with disc drive ) and an atari 1040, when i have nieces and nephews over i dig them out, set them up and let the kids play games on them....for some reason they love them !......kids these day's eh ?

My parents paid $300 for the cutting edge Atari console around 1982.

My friends and I traded and sometimes fought over the gaming cartridges...ahh good times!

#9 I'd like to forget the 80's, but I'd have to remember them first ;)

just a thought for you young whipper-snappers, I remember the day my Dad brought home Pong!!! We were the first ones in the neighbor hood to have one and it was the coolest dang thing!! We played for hours and hours!! Imagine that!! LMAO
